TweetCaster Pro for Twitter App Reviews

This used to be my favorite Twitter app, but I am here to write this review before I search out a new one. It has become an absolute battery hog. Even when not allowed to update in the background and with no other apps open, this app alone will drain your battery from 100% to 20% in less than 4 hours. Add to that that you cannot copy the URL of a tweet on the iPhone app- something nearly every other Twitter app offers- and I am forced to abandon TweetCaster for a new option.

For some reason one update has made it so that the keyboard does not go down so you can choose functions.

Ive been using this app for a while (years). But recently the developer has stopped squishing bugs as quickly as they should. The current big bug is that the keyboard does not hide so any option to attach a photo is hidden by the keyboard. The keyboard either needs to hide, or the attachment windows needs to overlay the keyboard. Seems to me that this fix should be easy, yet the developer hasnt done anything about it for several update cycles. Tells me that active development has died and it might be time to move to a different Twitter client. My guess is that the purchase of Handmark & OneLouder (the developer) by Sprint has killed the apps. When the developer relied on happy users for income, there was cause to update. But Sprint doesnt need this app to succeed, and they now call the shots as owner. Its also worth noting that theres no support for longer tweets, and unlike some clients that dont count a replied tweet against your character count, this app does, so a retweet with comment is extremely limited character-wise.

Come on, really. The keyboard does not go away now, it blocks the photo attachment etc. PLEASE FIX THIS.!!!!!

Changing my review to save others some of their hard-earned money. Waiting 2.5 months for a developer to fix a bug in a paid app is unacceptable when that hug is this serious. Switched to Ubersocial, which also has a feature to post a Tweet to Facebook. Worse yet, zero communication from the developer, and the support site is straight out of 1996. UberSocial also lets you send individual tweets to Facebook, so zero reason to favor this seemingly abandoned app.

Im getting real tired of not being to post pictures on Twitter or post drafts because the keyboard refuses to hide. This has been going on for months. Im ready to find a new Twitter client.

The new keyboard issue makes this app worthless. Please fix. Its been months now.

App randomly wont work upside-right (with the home button on the bottom), app works fine but very annoying. Also very annoying that I have to restart my iPhone 6 Plus JUST for this app when it "hangs" up.

This app provider no longer cares. I have to switch. Very sad, it was a great app. Now no support.
